What's for Dinner? II

It's the question that parents hear on a daily basis: "What's for dinner?" This week, your camper will be the one answering that question! Students will learn basic and intermediate cooking skills as they prepare dinner for their family. They will learn techniques that they can utilize in a variety of recipes beyond the scope of our week-long camp. Students will learn to prepare five delicious, healthy meals for their families, with dinner being on the table each night of camp by 6:30 PM! Parents are welcomed to serve as your camper's "sous chef".

Ms. Sarah Russell has been in the orchestra classroom since 2001 and has been at PDS since 2015. Her passion for cooking began in childhood and continues today. Ms. Russell is a self-proclaimed “foodie” - she once auditioned for Food Network! While she enjoys preparing upscale comfort food, her responsibilities as a working mom of three young children have steered her current culinary style towards balanced meals that appeal to everyone - especially kids! She is thrilled to marry her love of teaching and cooking as a first-year camp instructor.
