Miss Ava's Under the Sea

campers at an aquarium

Sleeping with the SHARKS? can't be serious! Get ready to travel to Ripley’s Museum in Myrtle Beach on Independence Day and do just that! Miss Ava's Under the Sea campers will have the museum all to themselves as they view the exhibits and a classroom presentation, enjoy a bedtime snack, and settle down for the night right under the shark’s tank. AND…parents can join in!* In the morning, wake to a simulated sunrise beautiful! On Friday morning, play in the sand and surf at Cherry Grove Beach before grabbing some lunch and heading home in time for 5:00 pick-up. To get ready for our trip, campers will learn about ocean safety and animals that live in the oceans, rivers, and ponds.

Projects include: • Megalodon shark’s tooth cast • Designing a shark’s t-shirt • Building a sea creature. Learning concepts include: • Ocean Safety • Fresh water animals • Salt water animals. Drop-off and pick-up in the carpool loop.

A detailed itinerary will be emailed to you when you register. *Accompanying Adults: $200 if riding the camper bus; $150 if riding in family vehicle
