Middle School Volleyball Camp (Girls)

If you are a rising middle school student (6th-8th Grade) looking to improve your volleyball skills this camp is for you! Directed by Emily Carrara, this camp is for young players looking to maximize their volleyball potential and build a stronger love and understanding for the game. Each player will leave camp a more dynamic teammate, athlete and volleyball player. Emily is currently the Director of Volleyball at Providence Day School and has been a Charger since 2014. She has six years of collegiate coaching experience as the assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Davidson College and Queens University of Charlotte. This camps’ coaching staff has historically been comprised of coaches with collegiate, high school, national level club, and physical education teaching experience. As a result of such a talented staff, this camp is optimal for skill development for the middle school aged player! Middle school camp is designed to teach the fundamental skills of volleyball. Campers will be grouped based on age and skill level and will be introduced to serving, passing, setting, attacking, blocking, and defense. Each camper will enjoy hundreds of repetitions at each skill and receive 15 total hours of training over the five days of camp! Coaching techniques will include drills, interactive games, and real competition in a positive environment that helps each player gain confidence as a volleyball player! Bring a labeled water bottle. Drop-off and pick-up at the MAC.
