Middle School Boot Camp

Middle school can be a challenge for students as they begin to independently manage their school work, home life, and social life, and to make good decisions in all areas. In this five-day camp, we are going to use fun assessments and a variety of games to find and focus the student's character strengths, otherwise known as their “Super Powers”. Then we will purposefully explore Executive Functioning Skills (EFS) and discuss ways of combining the EFS with Super Powers. The intention of this camp is to help the student combine their unique character strengths with EFS, and unmask their super powers to successfully manage everyday tasks.

Executive Function Skills (EFS) Coach Priscilla Webb is an Information Technology Change Manager. Her EFS coach training includes course work with the Attention Deficit Disorder Coaching Association (ADDCA), CTI Coaching, and workshop training under Dr. Peg Dawson, author of SMART BUT SCATTERED Teens: The Executive Skills Program for Helping Teens Reach their Potential. She is currently working with CTI Coaching towards her master level coaching certification. Ms. Webb studied English with a concentration in Instructional Documentation at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
