PD Tennis Head Coach Ryan Harper brings fun and fitness together in Charged Up Tennis! Kids of all skill levels will learn why tennis is a lifetime sport. From proper warm-up techniques and strokes to scoring and match etiquette, this camp will lay a strong foundation that will encourage and excite campers. Through simulated play drills, repetitive practice, and other creative activities, kids will advance their skills and increase their fitness level while developing an understanding of the game and an appreciation of the beauty of interacting through sport. Underlying all instruction is an emphasis on attitude and good sportsmanship. In the end, campers who are excited, curious, and ready for more tennis will gain enough knowledge and confidence to pursue the game at the level of their choice. Campers should wear comfortable clothes and tennis shoes and bring a labeled tennis racket and water bottle every day. Sunscreen is advised.
