Beginner Volleyball Camp

This camp is designed for young athletes of all levels who are interested in the sport of volleyball. Emphasis will be given on the basic fundamental skills of the game (serving, passing and setting), and conditioning drills will help players create the muscle memory needed for many of these skills. This includes approach footwork, swing training and creating the proper platform necessary for passing. For more experienced players, we will focus on reps to increase players’ ability to control ball placement and consistency of basic skills while analyzing various strategies of the game. Volleyball is a team sport, and our coaches will lead by example to instill a team atmosphere amongst the campers. Health protocols for this camp will be based on local regulations and school policies in place at the time. Campers should wear sneakers and knee pads and bring a labeled water bottle.
