Sessions 1, 2, 6 and 7; Full Day; Rising Grades: 6-10

This is NOT your father's Dungeons & Dragons! Updated rules mean less fuss and more fun in this classic role-playing game from the 70s. Campers will dive into an exciting fantasy world as they expand their vocabulary, enhance their math skills, and learn the real meaning of teamwork. Prepare for laughs, victory, and betrayal!

Sessions 2 and 7; Morning; Rising Grades 3-5

Calling all aspiring adventurers! Let your imagination soar this summer with Dungeons and Dragons, the role-playing game that everyone is talking about. Campers will learn the game as they create characters and roll the dice for their party's adventuring fate! 

Session 2; Full Day; Rising Grades 1-4

CAMMP is a full day camp with ½ day of mathematics and ½ day of robotics and coding. CAMMP’s philosophy is to enhance children’s understanding of mathematics, robotics, and coding and its connections to thinking, reasoning, and real world problem-solving. The CAMMP experience produces logical understanding and helps children find fun in mathematics. 

Sessions 2, 3 and 6; Morning; Rising Grades 1-6

PD Tennis Head Coach Ryan Harper brings fun and fitness together in Charged Up Tennis! From proper warm-up techniques and strokes to scoring and match etiquette, this camp will lay a strong foundation that will encourage and excite campers of all skill levels.

Sessions 1, 2, 5, 8, and 9; Full Day; Rising Grades TK-5

The most enjoyable part of Charger Chill Day Camp is the wide variety of activities offered in a safe and relaxed atmosphere. Coach Saundra Robbins and her staff's mission is simple: Old school summer play. This traditional day camp provides children with experiences that help them learn the skills of reconnecting with old friends and making new friends through play, while building self-esteem, self-confidence, and resilience.

Sessions 1, 2, 5, 8, and 9; Full Day; Rising Grades: 6-8

Coach Saundra Robbins and her team have established this leadership camp just for middle school kids. This is an opportunity to enjoy all the fun of Charger Chill Day Camp, then take it to the next level with lessons in leadership, time management, outdoors skills, enhanced responsibility, and working with children.

Session 2; Afternoon; Rising Grades TK-1

Let us bring out your wild side as we learn about all kinds of animals in the most creative way. We’ll read animal stories, play animal games, create animal artwork and crafts and let our imaginations run wild with animal role play. Get ready to roar, soar, slither, march, swim and adventure into this awesome wild camp world.

Session 2; Morning; Rising Grades 2-6

Do you love cartoons? Create your own professional cartoons during this fun, animated week of creation. Campers will explore different types of animation: traditional, 2D Vector-based, 3D computer, motion graphic and stop motion. Learning this week will involve sketching, working with technology and even sculpting. 

Sessions 2-4; Full Day; Rising Grades 2-10

Journey "under the sea" with Ariel and her aquatic friends in Disney's The Little Mermaid JR., adapted from Disney's Broadway production and the motion picture. Based on one of Hans Christian Andersen's most beloved stories, Disney's The Little Mermaid JR. is an enchanting look at the sacrifices we all make for love and acceptance. This 3-week production ends with three shows.

Session 2 and Session 6; Full Day; Rising Grades 2-7

The hit Broadway show has changed the way we look at musical theatre today. Your actor will explore American history through rap, songs and choreography as we create our own age-appropriate version of this box office gold. We will spend the week learning and rehearsing with a culminating filmed performance that will serve as a digital keepsake for years to come.

Session 2; Morning; Rising Grades 2-7

Lights! Camera! Action! Does your child dream of starring in their favorite TV show? They’ll write scripts, act, and learn TV lingo to create their own shows and commercials. Campers will learn about story structure and elements as they write their own commercials, sitcoms, and even news broadcasts. 

Session 2; Morning; Rising Grades TK-1

Do you love to craft? This week will be full of colorful creations using everything from paper plates, wire, beads, party horns, egg cartons, and Contact paper to make our imaginative crafts come to life. Campers will learn how to follow directions, improve fine motor skills, learn patience, problem-solving skills, and improve their focus and concentration as they learn artistic crafting techniques.

Session 2; Afternoon; Rising Grades 2-7

Come learn this specialized art form that actors use to fight on stage. Campers will learn devices developed by theatre professionals to keep themselves and others safe while performing fight choreography to wow an audience. 

Session 2; Afternoon; Rising Grades 2-6

Messy is our primary ingredient, mixed with a little imagination and an explosion of materials to create fabulous paintings, sculptures and collages. Campers will practice different types of painting techniques, learn how to follow recipe directions as they make a paper maché creation, and create their own slime. We’ll use lots of materials you might not usually think of when you create artistic compositions!

Game On is a highly competitive camp for kids who love games of all kinds. Games are more than just great fun....they teach good sportsmanship and how to be a team player while helping kids develop their social skills and take a break from technology.

Session 2 and 8; Morning; Rising Grades TK-2

Boost your child’s dreams with this basketball camp led by one of the best youth basketball instructors in the area, Providence Day Varsity Basketball Coach Brian Field. Boys and girls will have a blast learning basketball tips from an expert and practicing the fundamentals of passing, shooting, and dribbling.

Do you love video games? Are you ready to create your own? This camp is an introduction into the exciting world of game development!  Game development helps kids expand their creativity, encourages organization and logical thinking, and develops persistence.

These Mini-Masters of Music will have an amazing time playing xylophones, metallophones, hand chimes, BoomWhackers, and drums while singing along to famous songs. Campers will explore music from different time periods and places of the world through creating, singing, and playing music by famous composers.

Session 2, 4, and 7; Afternoon; Rising Grades: 1-5

Playing drums is an exciting way to explore the cultures around us. Campers will play rhythms from different parts of the world on bucket drums, tubanos, congas, bongos, cymbals, gogo bells, and more while learning about and gaining an appreciation of many cultures.
