CK's Super Readers

Calling All Super Readers! Are your ready for a Reading Adventure? Help you little one gain the edge he/she needs to succeed in the new school year. We will help your child develop a love for reading and storytelling. We’ll learn and apply literacy skills to change the story and solve each problem. Collect letters for our “Super Duper Computer”, act out stories, and practice your “Super Reader” skills while having fun creating crafts. Campers will explore early literacy using fairy tales and phonemic awareness. Campers will learn parts of a story, explore letter sounds and understand how to identify a character in a story. Storytelling will be at the center of this camp. Campers will have an opportunity to role-play the stories they read, explore dramatic role play with props and costumes, and create art work to reinforce the story of the day. They will have a short performance/art sharing at the end of the week.
