CK's Splitter Splat!

What if you dipped a toy car in paint and raced it all over your paper? Or if you threw paint onto a canvas with a sponge? If these ideas sound fun to you, you will love our messy week of art projects! We’ll explore zany techniques to create our masterpieces. Campers will learn how to follow directions, improve fine motor skills, learn patience, develop problem-solving skills, and improve their focus and concentration as they learn artistic techniques. We’ll look to the works of famous artists like Heather Hansen and Jackson Pollock for techniques and inspiration. This camp is very hands-on and project based. Campers can expect to begin at least one new project a day, understanding that some of them will take a few days to complete. We encourage campers to wear clothes they don’t mind getting messy.
