CK's Krafty Kids

Do you love to craft? This week will be full of colorful creations using everything from paper plates, wire, beads, party horns, egg cartons, and Contact paper to make our imaginative crafts come to life. We’ll set up creation stations each day to keep your imagination soaring. Campers will learn how to follow directions, improve fine motor skills, learn patience, problem-solving skills, and improve their focus and concentration as they learn artistic crafting techniques. This camp is very hands-on and project based. Campers can expect to begin at least one new project a day, understanding that some of them will take a few days to complete. We will have a story to match our craft of the day and campers will use dramatic play to reinforce story elements. We encourage campers to wear clothes they don’t mind getting messy.

Creative Kids is celebrating 25 years as a trusted camp partner of Providence Day Summer Programs. Owner and creative director Brooke Fulton has directed PDS’ annual Lower School musical since 2016. With a BFA in Theatre from Auburn University and an MFA from The University of Southern Mississippi, Ms. Fulton has been teaching theatre for 15 years and was a finalist for CMS Teacher of the Year in 2013. Her staff of artists, choreographers, and theater professionals bring the arts alive during the summer for campers of all ages.
