Ck's Comic Book Heroes & Heroines

Do you ever wish you could create your own comic book heroes like Iron Man, Spider-Man or Wonder Woman, and put them into action? This workshop explores cartooning from character development to comic strip-ready. Kids will develop and take home a colored comic book of their own! Campers will develop fine motor skills, understand visual analysis and increase their concentration as they learn sketching techniques. Sketching improves hand-eye coordination while building confidence and encouraging problem solving. This camp is very hands-on and project based. Campers can expect to begin at least one new project a day, understanding that some of them will take a few days to complete. We encourage campers to wear clothes they don’t mind getting messy.

CreativeKids is celebrating 25 years as a trusted camp partner of Providence Day Summer Programs. Owner and creative director Brooke Fulton has directed PDS’ annual Lower School musical since 2016.
