  • The Arts
CK's Art Extreme

Trade your paintbrush for items you might find around the house! This week the messier, the better. We’ll use all kinds of different objects like water bottles and ping-pong balls to make cool museum quality finished products. Campers will learn how to follow directions, improve fine motor skills, learn patience and problem-solving skills, and improve their focus and concentration as they learn artistic techniques using non-art objects. This camp is very hands-on and project based. Campers can expect to begin at least one new project a day, understanding that some of them will take a few days to complete. We encourage campers to wear clothes they don’t mind getting messy.

CreativeKids is celebrating 25 years as a trusted camp partner of Providence Day Summer Programs. Owner and creative director Brooke Fulton has directed PDS’ annual Lower School musical since 2016. With a BFA in Theatre from Auburn University and an MFA from The University of Southern Mississippi, Ms. Fulton has been teaching theatre for 15 years and was a finalist for CMS Teacher of the Year in 2013. Her staff of artists, choreographers, and theater professionals bring the arts alive during the summer for campers of all ages.
