Camp Spirit - NEW!
For nearly 50 years, Providence Day School has educated children and forged traditions through ground-breaking programs and a commitment to excellence. Now PD brings tradition to summer with Camp Spirit, a new day camp that fosters a sense of community, stimulates positive relationships, and develops the whole child.
At Camp Spirit, children are placed into groups based on rising grade level, and two counselors stay with each group all day. The Ponies, for rising grades TK-K, are our youngest campers. Kids in rising grades 1-2 are placed in the Mustangs. Our oldest group is the Thoroughbreds for campers in rising grades 3-4. A team of Activity Specialists leads campers in a rotation of activities throughout the week including arts and crafts, sports, outdoor adventure, and academic exploration.
Corral Time to Round-Up
Campers start each day as a community during Corral Time, gathering at the Levin Extended Day House for a preview of the day. Following a morning of activities geared to the campers’ age levels, it’s lunch time! Flik Dining provides a delicious lunch each day, along with two snacks. Afternoon activities end with the daily Round-Up where campers reflect on their day, perhaps sing a camp song or two, then head home.
The structured setting provides a safe environment allowing kids to relax and enjoy the camp experience. Our nurturing counselors and activity specialists challenge campers to embrace adventure, stretch their imaginations, and discover their passions.
