Summer Programs Staff (June 1-July 24): Gain experience in multiple areas this summer while working as a team to provide for the overall care of campers enrolled in the Extended Care program and to ensure the efficient operation of the Summer Programs office. This position is ideal for those who enjoy a wide variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment, have good decision-making abilities, and enjoy speaking with both adults and children. Must be at least 16 years or older.
The following Camp Spirit positions are available:
- Camp Spirit Lead Counselor (June 15-26 and July 6-17): Reports directly to the Director of Camp Spirit and is responsible for leading camp participants in daily activities and assisting Activity Specialists in teaching. In addition, the Lead Counselor supervises Junior Counselors while ensuring the well-being and safety of all participants. Must be at least 18 years old and a college student or graduate in the area of elementary education, outdoor education, or a related field.
- Camp Spirit Junior Counselor (June 15-26 and July 6-17): Reports directly to the Lead Counselor and the Director of Camp Spirit and is responsible for aiding in the supervision of all camp participants as well as for assisting the lead counselor in daily administration of the Camp Spirit program. Must be at least 16 years or older.
