From the Director

How do you plan for summer camp during a pandemic? Very carefully! Like last summer, we are taking steps to keep our camp community safe this season and give your child a reason to celebrate summer vacation.

Our investments in infrastructure have allowed students to safely learn in person since last August. Our current summer protocol is available by clicking on Health & Safety in the menu above. We will continue to follow the guidelines issued at the national, state, and local levels while we wait for the overall health climate to improve. As the official guidelines change, we’ll adapt our procedures so that your camper can have the very best experience here at Providence Day.

Now is a great time to browse our camp offerings, including new programs like Camp Spirit, a fresh take on the classic day camp. Imagine your child enjoying some of the same activities you did when you were a kid at camp!

Registration opens on January 28. Please take care, stay safe, and we’ll see you and your camper soon for our 26th season of Summer at Providence Day!

Director of Summer Programs

“I cannot tell you how excited [my daughter] was when she came home yesterday. She's missed the human interaction with other kids and adults a lot. She described in detail all the fun she had at her first day of camp (she particularly loved to swing on the playground). I even heard positive things about math, lol. That is amazing, and speaks to how easily you created a relaxed learning environment. Thank you for working through this summer season and connecting with our kids. I think they all need … a whole lot of warmth and positive feedback right now.”
